The Itinerary – Victoria holidays

This is the actual itinerary for our Victoria Aussie trip last June. The only changes was to day 3 and 4 due to Aqib’s asthma attack. Will blog it on day 3 entry.

So here it is. Our own pace travel plan. Maybe it can be your travel reference in the future kan!

Melbourne -mornington peninsula
29th may to 8th june 2014

Day 1 – 29th May, Thursday
Depart UK to KLIA @ 3pm
Depart Msia @ 8.15pm flight time MH147

Day 2 – 30th May, Friday
Arrival at Tullmarine airport, Melbourne
Hire car from Thrifty – 1 suv
Drive to Victoria Market – groceries shopping
Drive around town to check our city stay later
Drive to mornington peninsula
Check in at Nepean Country Club & Golf Resort by 3pm the latest.
Explore mornington peninsula
Stop by nearby supermarket to stock up
Back to Nepean Resort to dinner and rest.

Day 3 – 31st May 2014, Saturday
Supposed to go to Philip Island but something happened – aqib was not well due to food allergy
change of plan
Drive to Mornington beach to check the.bath hut.
Picnic by the sea
Stop by at Woolworth @ rosebud

Day 4 – 1st June, Sunday
Visit Meru Park which is 15km from philip Island
Penguin watch at magrib time – no camera allowed
Drive back home
Estimated journey 1 hr 50 mins drive
Rest

Day 5 – 2nd June, Monday
Drive to Puffing Billy for Train Ride Drive ard Dandenong area
Moorabin DFO 

Day 6 – 3rd June, Tuesday
Drive to ferry area and take ferry ride to Clifford
Drive through the Great Ocean Road.
Journey around 3 hrs 50 mins
Drive back to Nepean

Day 7 – 4th June, Wednesday
Drive to Nepan peak
Check out Sorrento town
Last stop shopping at Coles, Woolworth and K Mart.

Day 8 – 5th June, Thursday
Drive to Melbourne
Check in at Somerset @ St Elizabeth Street. Itinerary no:#13191122833
Check in at 2pm
250, Elizabeth’s St.Melbourne Vic.Melbourne.
Drive to South Wharf DFO to check it out
Return to Somerset and walk to Cili Padi for dinner.
Rest

Day 9 – 6th June, Friday
Shop around town of melbourne, Stop by Southbank DFO
Harbourtown
Dinner at Nandos -Harbourtown
Dessert – Churros
Target
Walk.around the city
Rest.

Day 10 – 7th June Saturday.
Shop at Victoria Market
Last min.shop at Melbourne town
3pm depart to airport.
Last min stop at South Wharf DFO for last shopping😅😅
Depart Melbourne at 00.05am

Day 11 – arrival @KLIA
6.10am MH128

Victoria Australia – May 2014

Yupe! We did it again 😅
This time full of adventure with a self droven van all throughout 10 days 9 nights stay in Aussie! It’s not a big deal when you are travelling with 5 adults 1 kid and 1 toddler. 7 of us. It was supposed to be 9 adults, 3 kids and 4 toddlers hehe but the Al-Mighty has a better plan for us.

Nicely fit into this 8 seater Hyundai Max thay we rented for East Coast rental company. Will blog about the estimatef budget that you should prepare if you are planning for such a trip.

Anyway before I share our travelling story here. I’d like to record a very special write up by The Star paper dated 14th June 2014. Too bad it was published after we got back. Surprisingly we almost covered all suggested venue under Victoria! 🙌🙌
