Vacations

The Villa (Bali)

Initially the villa was recommended by our tour agent. It was between villa Alia or villa Gembira.

We specifically requested for the accomodation to not be in Kuta as we heard its noisy..horrible traffic and busy. So seminyak it is.

Base on the pricing, we opted for Villa Gembira. It is actually a 4 bedroom villa with one huge common area (kitchen dining and tv area) and a huge pool.

Their service is actually very satisfying to me as each villa is assigned with a butler and his assistant whenever he needs.

Butler services inclusive of preparing us indoor breakfast, cleaning the dishes after breakfast and later their room service will clean the room on daily basis.

I’ll give it a 4 star out of 5 bcoz..of its beautiful villa… well secluded and secured. The rooms are comfortable with each open roof area. Err yang tu in my view menakutkanlaaa..at night I had to wake my hubby to teman me to toilet. Hahahahahahaha…..ada one night tu one loud noise on the roof. Fuh being a very light sleeper of course akak cuak..kehkeh..perasaan.

I have nothing to complain i guess except for these:
1. Its not located near a beach at all! Well according to them you can walk about 12 mins la..but for me tgh not well and with org tua lagi manalaa larat kan.
2. No buggy service to send and pick us up. Just discovered at the end of the trip rupanya our agent la bertungkus lumus usahakan ada van amik depan villa kuar villa.
3. Mosquitos wise…banyak but they do prepare the ubat nyamuk..and net. We were ok as we’ve done our research earlier. Bawak insect sticker..siap2.
4. Halal food utensils…uwaa they are not muslim friendly. We had to samak all the kitchen utensils b4 the butler can use to cook our food. Its a normal thing la kalau travel overseas but I guess if you can find a muslim friendly villa better lah. Kalau tak samakla macam kami bawak sabun samak moden tu. Hehee..jenuh waaa..
5. Food Halal – they do have halal beef and chicken patties. So ask for it k. We all siap mintak nak tgk halal logo.

The star of this Villa is of course the pool! My kids swim all they can! Oh yes another thing I love about this villa is that it is all one level. No stairs! Good for orang tua. 10 mins walk from Villa also is the town and supermarket bintang.

Would I recommend this Villa to others? Definitely if they don’t mind with all the comment given. Check it out ok. It is quite actually an awesome villa!

Bali (day 4)

Its our last day today at Bali! After the kids had enjoy their morning swim (puas2) and had their breakfast by the pool I started to pack our bags.
image

image

image

image

image

Nothing much done that morning as we let my mil and sils enjoy their spa time. Oh I did pedi medi and again it was a waste of my Rp200,000 they don’t have any buffing service which was a total let down.. that I bargained to reduce the price from 250k to 200k rp. Haih..really not my lucklah this trip 😬

Last stop was for lunch and then we went straight to the airport. This is where we will go on our seperate ways..
image

image

image
Food was ok. Famous tempat ni. Halal

The rest with MAS and us AA. Surprisingly AA was not sooo bad..the check in process was very fast and as adviced by my mom we pay for the disable wheel chair facility upon arrival at LCCT.

The difference was however the distance of the gate number. Gila jauh…had to walk and walk and walk…patutla the AA offered me to take the wheel chair!! Ciss.😂

It is a lower grade flight so there was a bus that send us right to the AA stairs to plane. The kids were enjoying the new experience. Alhamdulillah flight home was a peace of mind. Aqib slept all throughout the journey so I can relax and rest too. Their meals was surprisingly delicious too! The aircond was cold and we were all happy customer with AA that day.

Upon arrival at KLIA 2..the staff push from the door plane right to bagage claim area. Fuhh mujur amik wheel chair with my unwell condition at that time mmg sgt berguna.

So there we are. Finnito.

Overall Bali is a nice beach holiday island. Its just not my luck kot coz when you are unwell everything seems to be tak ok. Perhaps lets give it another go next time when I’m well and fit..and I would definitely want to bring the kids to the famous Safari Zoo. Besides that I still prefer Jakarta Bandung Australia. 😂😂 jangan marah ya..like I told you I am not the beach kindda girl.

Why?..I just have this phobia with strong winds. Beaches means angin kuat too me..which reminded me of angin sangkala on a kiamat day. Yes I can be that paranoid since my eldest brother told me and showed me a video…grrr…

So i have my reasons why…

The End

Bali (day 3)

The next day, I woke up with a bad pain and I just couldn’t afford to let it be more painful. Mr hubby agreed for us to stay indoor for the day while the rest supposed to go to ubud.

I tried to swim as well, konon to let the water ease the pain. But err hehe not really aa. Booked for indoor massage and it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. Okla..for a pregnant mom they cannot massage kuat2 kan and was quite disturbed about the fact the masseuse didn’t properly clean the lulur balance from our bedroom floor. Being me I don’t like laa unprofessional service like that but the girl was nice.

I blame it on my very high balinese massage holiday expectation!! 😄😂

So the kids hang around the villa and for lunch we reheat some food. Honestly it was really hot that noon in the villa. I just stay indoor in our room. Couldn’t bare the sticky hot weather.

We were suppose to join them for dinner at Jimbaran later of the day but they had a few detour so ended up tak sempat for us to catch the sundown moment by the beach. Feeling very bersalah whoa to the rest of the family (ampun)…we were soo ready to take the taxi actually but was told a few other arrangements and last2 tak jadi.

Traffic on a Friday in Bali is also very bad ok. 😅 we got stuck.

Mmg takde rezeki juga but alhamdulillah there is some sunlight when we arrived at Jimbaran. Beautiful beach! Jagung dia rasa pelik sikit but sedap.

I just try my best to ilangkan rasa was2 coz knowing myself sampai ke tahap brush apa depa guna nak sapu butter tu my mind will..go into details..butter dia ada lemak babi ke tak. Lagi2lah kat bali bila babi is a normal thing kan. I think I did ask or did my research earlier. So i put my faith berdasarkan review traveller muslim yg lain. InsyaAllah.

So here are the picas. Lovely beach..we loved it. Food dia mujur ada satu kicap tu if not me cannot telan…oh and the kangkung rebus is my fav. Hehe.

Then on our way back we ask the supir to stop by at MCD to buy some supper. Baru tau all fast food chain in halal tau. Haha kalau tau dr awal surely we have bought some supper very night. 😅

Finally…we then went home.. eat supper and rest!

Bali (day 2)

The next day we woke up as early as 5.30am as the sun was almost up already. By the time subuh finishes around 6ish am the kids woke up and terus wanna jump into the pool. Waaa pagi2 also wanna swim ka 😅😅 so at 6.45am they were already in the pool while waiting for the butler to come and cook our breakfast at 8am.

image

Aqib woke up a bit later and straight he went peeking at through the glass door..

image

image

image

image

The butler preparing our breakfast. 1st day was a bit confused. We thought they don’t have halal beef patties. So we stick to eggs and roti je sungguh tak best.

image

image

2nd day baru managed to sort it out and finally we have some meat in our english breakfast.

After breakfast we went to the Turtle Island via a small boat. The kids loved emm very much. Me sakit sangat pinggang after the trip. Beautiful…gorgeous! Just look at the blue ocean. Hey its not that hotlaa…pasal i dah expect the worst kot 😂😂😄😄

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

After turtle island we went for lunch at this ayam penyet restaurant. Solat siap2 also there.

image

image

image

image

image

image

image

Then on our way back the van stop by at a few placess b4 we head home to the villa. Souveniers shop.

image

image

image

image

At Agong..Aqib was running here and there under mr hubby supervision. I noticed the tshirts sold here were really nice and good quality. But bcoz I was targetting to go to Krishna base on my spa owner friend..so I tried my best to limit my purchases here. Bought me, Aqib and Wawa a Bali tshirt. Some colorful selipar and keychains.

After Agung, finally we arrived at Krishna. This time I let mr hubby go first while the kids stay in the mpv. So that he can grab everyone each sourveniers. Menyesal tak beli banyak2 at Agong..here at Krishna their tshirts not very nice but there were a lot of spa stuff here..so I just grabbed some lulur, lotion, oil as gifts to my family. Sticking to core family members only.

Lastly we just dcd to stop by at Kuta beach while the rest went to Hard Rock Bali and some went to buy gifts by the beach. We all decided to just sit and enjoy the beach. But pftttt 😤😤 ramai gile org soh amik service dia until mr hubby was very worried to leave us there. Took a feet massage for 80k rp.

image

image

Lastly we went for dinner at xxx err macam takda je..so malam tu we rest and eat maggi and whatever we have at the villa.

Gosh masa malam tu my pinggang hurt very much already. Barely can move. I didn’t even come out from the room and rest.

Walla finnito day 2

Bali Trip (1st day)

I am not…soo into Island Holiday kinda girl; but that doesn’t mean I don’t go at all. My childhood memories are full of our frequent trips to Pangkor Island, Langkawi Island and the rest was beach holidays at Port Dickson, Pantai Cahaya Bulan at Kelantan and of course the Terengganu beaches.

Mr hubby wanted to treat his mom and dad for a holiday. Initial it has always been Perth Australia. When we were there, he mentioned how he wished we can go to Perth and relax with his parent and siblings. I was more than happy to know thislaa… meaning I can jalan2 yeay!

Finally after almost 6 years, we managed to discuss this seriously..and guess what? They decided to choose Bali Island instead. It was a bummer la at first coz our heart was all set for Perth..but after taking into consideration that it should be affordable for every family member mr hubby agreed and welcome this idea. Afterall when you look at the bright side…currency wise spending wise its much much better than Aussie currency. So a luxury holiday villa we gooo 😄

But then…I suddenly got myself pregnant with number 3! Everything suddenly changed! I have noooo mood to go while I was still suffering hypermesis gravidarium. The tickets we bought earlier of the year with MAS pun suddenly got problem due to my bro who was at that time an employee of MAS decided to resign and move on before the big makeover. So MAS instructed all the booked tickets after July 2015 to be cancelled and refund. Just me as only direct blood related can enjoy the MAS staff benefits. Can you imagine…I was the only one without a ticket!! Grrrr 😅😬

I was too ill to be bothered on it…afterall I just don’t like island holiday sangat kan. So so je rasa. Mr hubby was of course upset with my lack of enthusiasm. Biasanya bini dia nilaaa yg paling excitedkannn kan! 😂😂 true health is important..

Anyway nak pendekkan story, we finally had to repurchase the whole family return tix with Air Asia and burned 3 return tix with MAS. I guess we burned few thousands je this year to accommodate to this trip 😣😯:'( mr hubby said lets just go and settle this trip k. I want everyone to be there as a family. Sedih jab…the sacrifies he does for us and his family kan.

Tapi mmg takde rezeki kamilah tu. Pasrah dgn ketentuan Illahi.

Anyway enough of the tragic part..lets go back to the day we flew to Bali. I was mostly wobbly myself but alhamdulillah after a buggy ride and wheel chair experience we managed to enjoy our Bali holiday. So here are some pics..

image

On our way to the airport..ada org sudah tido 😂

image

Reunited with the cousins at klia.

image

image

image

image

Gambar wajib for me..hehe MAS to Bali

image

image

Ooo aaaaa we can see the Island! Hot looking Island! LoL!

image

Dah sampai…

image

image

Our supir/ travel agent greeted us at the airport.

image

image

Nice airport! Indoor interior rasa mcm kat aussie!

image

image

As expected they greeted us with kalung bunga hehe it really cheered us up 😄😄😄😄😍😍😍😍

image

Later on we stop by for prayers somewhere nearby the airport. The unique part – there is 3 worships place in one gate. A church..a buddha temple and a masjid…opposite the area was a nice area..we took some pics here b4 heading for dinner.

image

image

image

image

image

Thats our van! For the 1st day je laa😂

image

image

image

image

Then we off we went for early dinner. But of course not b4 a wajib stop to buy some groceries like milk and cornflakes and etc.

image

image

Budesa masakan bali. Takleh nak masuk selera ibu mabuk. Dry….

image

image

image

image

Cantik actually this restaurant! Tapi spooky sikitlaa with the patung2…….

After dinner we went straight to our villa. By that time it was already dark.
I’ll do a seperate entry on the villa itself. Gorgeous luxury villa for me lah yang tak biasa luxury style holiday ni hehe!!

Ho Chi Min Vietnam (day 1)

Its a reward trip for the selected staff and when we heard our names been picked, we were all excited lah kan! 1st…bcoz this time we can go as partners (with my dept colleague Dila) and even arranged to be in 1 hotel room, 1 flight and etc…sebelum ni tak excited coz normally you have to sorang2 pandai2lah mingle kan. Hahaha

BUT there was a catch. We have to become the team leader to our group. Group no 2. I think. Hardly can recall. So we have to ensure everyone in our group to arrive on time…passport all with us and of course everything according to itinerary.

So when the day has finally arrived, we managed to depart on time. Our group consists of 4 regional head from 4 states and the rest is the business managers and sales staff all over the country. We do know them b4 from the phone calls..but it was quite actually interesting to finally meet eye to eye with everybody. 😄

image

Since we were the 2nd batch to fly that morning from KLIA. Me and dila arrived somewhere between 6ish am. We met the tour agency and were given a bag tag and a free tote bag.

We move to departure area quite early as we were warned by the 1st group as they got stuck up at the immigration counter earlier. So terkejar2 la depa.

At the gate seating area finally we officially read some doas and introduce ourselves to each other. We saw some naughty faces already there haha!! We have to handle them..hemm..

Flight with MAS was not so smooth. Trying my best to maintain my coolness 😎😎 but as we were about to land…I can still remember how wobbly the flight was. Just imagine you feel like the plane was trying its best to maintain on a straight landing line..but it shook left and right like nobody business!! Gile cuak. Shaky landing. But alhamdulillah we touched down at the Ho Chi Min airport safely.

First thing first, the toilet trip. Mujur ada botol kosong with us. No air ok dlm cubicle as always.

At the arrival area, we had to ensure everybody maintain in a big group. It was very crowded. Some even left the group to go to toilet and some collecting their bags and some buying the phone line 😅. Fuh mencabar sikit. But we try to maintain cool je…

When the bus driver and our tour agent from there finally meet us..we were brought to a bus area..from there we still had to wait for the rest to ensure everyone is in the bus. 30 of us.

Finally we can enjoy the complimentary cold mineral water and sit back and listen to the tour agent story…we had too…coz we were at the most front 😂 org lain dah belasah tido k! Team leader la katakan. Haih.

Our hotel is located 39-41 Thu Khoa Huan street. Just next door to the Kampung Pandan Halal restaurant.

Luar nampak kicik..so while we waited for our rooms to ready. We had our first lunch at the Kg Pandan restaurant. Nyums sedap jugala. Dah laparkan hahah.

image

After lunch we finally got our room keys and that ptg the activity was free and easy. We were impressed with the rooms! Cantik but small. Just nice for 2 person.
http://a-emhotels.com/AEBookingSite/hotel?id=26

The location is very near the Ben Then Market. So after solat we decided to join one of the girls yang dah biasa dtg and we took a taxi (berempat) of us. Fuh gamble betul this time. We went to
The China Market. Ben Thai. Lawan arus.

image

image

image

image

image

Its quite far from our hotel but they said its supposed to be much2 cheaper here. So I just follow the girls to one of the kedai kain. The famous prada lace…I ni mmg kureng sikit bab2 beli kain..especially when I have no such mission. But alang2 dah sampai i just bought one for myself my sarah and my mom. Mine and sarah terus buat baju raya. Mama’s green still tak buat baju. Hahah if i dont really like it..i rasa mama lagila tak suka. But fine..dah beli so end of story. Cash pulak tukar dalam rm1,500 je konon. Haa 1st day je dah habis rm500. Bought 5 kain ela nak buat jubah konon..siap jahit. They will send to our hotel by Saturday mlm. The market closed at 5pm. So we had only 2 hrs la. Rushing gile babe…took a taxi home back to our hotel.

Tips. Vietnamese can’t read and talk english that well. So please make sure you bring a lot of the hotel cards with you. We just showed the card to the random picked taxi driver and he drove us home. And yes like Jakarta they do have preferred safe taxi. Baik2 oo.

As for the tailoring..pun we pass the hotel card for them to deliver to our hotel.

Done. That night we walk through the street..agak scary sikit coz we were warned by others byk penyagak. We moved in 4..sampai kat pasar malam dia..and then we finally reach the junction of halal food. Fuhh senang nak makan but very pricey.

Mlm tu mkn kat xx.survey2 dulu.

image

image

image

image

Saw this kopi…but decided not to spoil the tummy on our 1st night ere. Perhaps later.

Balik tido.

Day 10 – Oz Trip 2014 – Melbourne CBD ( Last Day)

The day that we have been dragging to arrive is finally here :'(…no choice its the last day of our OZ trip 2014!

After breakfast we took the tram and went straight to Victoria Market. This is to wrap up our 9 wonderful days in Victoria.

Flowers!

~1427124806~20140607_133830

Brought my mom to the tea pot shop where I used to buy her the strawberry teapot back in 2005. We just walk around taking pictures and of course bought a few last minutes sourveniers at the market. (We have already surveyed this on our 1st day)

                           ~1424287966~IMAG0693 ~1427124836~20140607_132648  ~1424287921~IMAG0691

~1427124563~20140607_143321               ~1427124590~20140607_142552

Then we took a ride on a real horse carriage and ride around the Victoria Market. It was drizzling to match our sad feelings…hehe drama plak kan!

Once we were satisfied, we shoot off to the Melbourne City. Here we went saperate ways to accomodate our last few hours. Finally had the opportunity to shop at Target. After yesterday’s inccident we were on extra caution mode. Just grab what we think we can afford lol! 😅😂..some for the kids and myself. No party stuff this time..no time. Grabbed what you can afford mode. Just a few shirts..err..just that. 😣

  ~1424286111~IMAG0685 ~1427125187~20140607_114552~1427125397~20140607_120226~1424288464~IMAG0719 ~1427125321~20140607_120220~1424285851~20140607_102629~1424285914~20140607_102651~1424285700~20140607_102553~1427125132~20140607_114342

We walk to our apartment and took that opportunity to enjoy the CBD views. Collect our luggages and head straight to the airport…but on the way Mr Hubby wanted to stop by at DFO Essendon to buy a few more of his Brooke Brother’s work shirt. Apa lagi..we all jump to this chances to grab a few last minute stuff. I bought this cute hot waterbag from Bed & Bath! Something for the next berpantang moment hehe..tuam perut lepas bersalin nya stock! 😅 We were there for only 15 minutes tau! Sempat!! 😅😂😂

We reached the airport around 5pm and it was dark already. My dad dropped us there while they went and send the rented van back to the rental centre.

By the time we finish check-in it was already around 9pm. Bought the kids some McD fries and we walk slowly to the waiting area. It was quite a distance and we reached the waiting area around 10pm. Not much of waiting…as our flight was scheduled for 12am. So just nice. Had a good nap on our journey back home…well not me lah! Takut!!

~1427123813~DSC_1110 ~1427124231~20140608_075654 ~1427124260~20140607_190109 ~1427124360~20140607_155417 ~1424285700~20140607_102553

And alhamdulillah reached home safely on Sunday 6am Malaysian time. Home sweet home. We really enjoyed Melbourne and Victoria very much! Love love.

Thank you Allah for this opportunity.

I know we cannot afford to travel like others. Deep down in my heart I wanted this trip very much and I am redha that I may need to stay put for few more years before the next trip. Mr hubby was planning for another trip with his parent for 2015 but I wasn’t hoping so much lah…true enough tak jadi.

So byebye Aussie. Hope we can travel again if Allah permits! Like now…jomlah kita duduk diam2 k kat Malaysia and extend family members … 😂😂😂😂

I can still remember me praying hard Ya Allah bagilah rezeki nak berjalan ke Aussie dgn keluargaku ni menjadi.. Just nak puaskan hati bawak mama papa adik2 enjoy what we really love about Melbourne Australia. Hehe..Alhamdulillah. Syukur. Mission accomplished.

Luas pandangan Luas pengalaman!

Day 9 – Oz Trip 2014 – Melbourne City

We woke up a bit late that day, my ex-colleague NG KL who are currently pursuing his further studies In Melbourne agreed to take us out for a tour around the City. I’ve been planning to contact him whenever we are in Melb since we got to know he resigned from my current employer. So while waiting for him, we had our home made breakfast. Our breakfast mission that morning was to finish whatever left in the fridge..so tada…LOL!

Our breakfast in Somerset

Our breakfast in Somerset

KL arrived early around 9am ke 10am that morning,  introduced him to my family. Later on was sorting out all the Brahim’s rencah left over ( 1 big bag) to pass to him, so that we don’t have to bring it back to Msia (memberatkan bag!). At least he can cook and enjoy Msian cooking kan! LOL! Well he refused to accept Nona nasi impit tuh…so next time please finish it siap2 at the beginning of the trip. (note to myself). Sampai Melb je memang senang makan, so tak laku sgt stock ahaha…

Us at Somerset lobby

Us at Somerset lobby

First we walk …yes we all had to walk to Melb city ( according to KL it was not that far…hahaha…funny. It was a very far for my mom ok!) but we managed reached the famous Federal Square by foot! Yehoo!

Discussing where to go

Flinder's Station

Flinder’s Station

At the Federation Square, everyone sat down resting while me and KL went to check out the nearby  Tourist Centre. We were undecided whether to go on a  river cruise crossing to Williams Town or just to take a city tour via the City Circle Tram. According to the TC staff, river cruise will take a bout 2 hours return. Uhh no..we don’t have much time, so we decided to take the City Tram instead.

Fed Square

~1424279759~IMAG0640

After a few stations of tours, we decided to step down from the Tram and walk back to our apartment. My mom was tired already. So we took our van out and drive to South Wharf DFO, hehehe…

~1424282283~20140606_131210 ~1424282527~20140606_131449

We were planning to have our lunch here. Guess what, we just couldn’t find any HALAL restaurant here, fish and chips dia ada dim sim so end up buying some potato chips at this no pork shop. Was a bit disappointed here, thought it would be among the best DFOs we went but instead this outlet has less choices. Perhaps due ti its locality – nearest to the city? Moorabin had the most choices (because ulu hehe) and Essendon pun. Bought some clothing for my nieces and nephews here. But yes our dearest Wawa found her first SMIGGLE shop. Honestly, the items sold in it there is so amazing and colourful. She requested a school bag that cost 60 AUD! Aiyak,,oklah papa dia bagi chance. Bukan selalu ke Aussie kan?! hehe… (Just got to know Singapore ada the nearest kalau nak beli lagi..)

Smiggles

Smiggles

We were there only for 2 hours, then we drove to Harbour Town , Docklands where the famous San Churros is located.

~1424283259~20140606_161006

Harbourtown 1

Mamamia! Tempat lain mungkin ada, tapi this is where we found ours.

Churros imagesDK42GRHK

Actually we all tapau, coz we were too hungry. Gambar churros celup tu ehsan net.  Alhamdulillah we have a few Halal food options to eat …so we opted for Nandos. You have to request for HALAL servings ya.

Coincidentally my closest cousin and her family were there too! Havoc la kejap happy to finally being able to gather kat Melbourne! We planned our itinerary almost similar, but it was difficult to arrange a meet up as our days collided with each others. So here are the Shamsudin’s family at Harbour Town Melbourne – June 2014 🙂

~1424283619~20140606_164942 ~1424283744~20140606_165146

Horbour Town – It was a very interesting place to be! Managed to grab 2 pairs of Levis jeans at 60 dollars!

Bought myself chevron duvet set! Yeay from Sheridan! The sales girls did asked me how  come Malaysian love buying bedsheets!!? heheh…because murah la!

Phew…the day did not ended here. We drove back and park our van.

We went separate ways, my mom and dad walked around the shopping street, while Mr Hubby went to have a drink with his ex- colleague Gloria at Mex Brenner while, Me, Aqib Haziq and KL went to this souvenirs shop.

But not before we force KL to teach us on how to take the Melb city tram. I had actually bought the tram card since our 2nd day in town, bought it at any7- eleven outlets. Minimum top up is AUD7 each.

~1424019344~IMAG0652 ~1424019374~IMAG0663 ~1424280310~IMAG0672

According to KL’s surveys this is the cheapest shop in Melbourne heheh…

~1424019391~IMAG0669 ~1424279497~IMAG0670

We went crazy here,so cheap! After borong,we bid KL goodbye.  Walk straight to Target to join my parents there.

Not long after we reached TARGET, something bad happened! (sampai sekarang kalau teringat mesti rasa kesal sesangat) 😦 Lumrah hidup mesti ada inccident kan..

We just stepped out from the lif when  Aqib came out rushed running when he suddenly fell down in a loud thus and cried! Everyone was panic!

When we lifted him up and saw that he had bumped his front head. dahlah besi ! Uwa..Allahuakhbar! My dad was saying at his top of his lungs when he touched Aqib’s head. There was big lump as big as a ping pong ball!!!! plus there is a long small bleeding cut!!. MasyaAllah, hanya Allah je tahu perasaan macam mana!! Memang menggelatar habis, my brother rushed to & Eleven to get some ice.

Called mr hubby to come and join us. We all yang lain try to calm down, asking where is the nearest clinic. Being in a foreign country during emergency moments it not my choice at all! Freaking crazylah when all the clinic were already closed by 6pm.

In the midst of finding a solution whether we should bring Aqib to a hospital or find the nearest medical treatment, my mom asked this one lady who sat next to my mom.

She asked us what happened? Mom told her about the accident, and she told us “oh I am a doctor, let me have a look at the wound” She scanned Aqib’s forehead and look at the wound. She asked us to stop tuam with the ice. She said it is actually Aqib’s skull is good there is a only a cut in the bump.” You shouldn’t worry. Just treat the wound with antiseptic”.

The doctor advised us to go to QV where they have a pharmacy.

We said our Thank you and walk straight to QV. WOW! We have no idea where this QV  is but we just walked along the China Town and  turn left and finally we found it! Guess what!! The pharmacy just closed 30 minutes earlier.

I was a bit relieved when Mr hubby finally join us there. Gloria yang tgh sarat mengandung pun ikut sama rupanya. She bought us some plaster and antiseptic and Mr Hubby  sapu on the wound. Gloria gave us her personal  Aussie doctor number, for the doctor to come direct to our apartment should there is unusual symptoms on Aqib.

We slowly walk back to our apartment…gosh what a drama indeed. Praying that Aqib will be ok. We survived the night. Btw QV tu rupanya dekat giler gan our apartment!

What a nightmare! Hilang abis mood shopping mlm tu!!

Day 7 – Rosebud & Sorrento – The Nepean Peak

On day 7 we decided to have a relax and easy time around our little town. Its our last full day here so we went up to the tip of the Victoria map to Sorrento. Sorrento is where we took our ferry to cross over to Queensland for our GOR trip.

Picture infront of our house at Nepean resort before jalan2.

Nepean peak is located here. We drove up all into the national forest and was fickling with the idea weather to take part with the nature quest or not… but decided against it. So we just had a stroll up at the centre enjoying the beautiful view.

We took a lot of picture here while the kids watched the locals play cricket.

Houses here at Sorrento are huge mansions like..here is where the wealthy side of Victoria people stay. Holiday mansions too if not mistaken. Quite a rare view from the houses at Melbourne town. Ala ala hollywoodlah!

Their town pun a bit up compared to others, you’ll feel as if you are in little Europe here. The only difficult part for us was to find a non-pork fish and chip restaurant! Dah masuk ke dalam kampung mat salleh ni memang sangatlah susah nak cari makanan halal. Last2 we had to drive to Rosebud and buy some frozen fish and chips and masak at our home. Hehehe..

There is one halal restaurant kat Victoria ni…we did singgah but makanan arab. So tak jadi makan situ.

So we spent the rest of the day shopping little bit here and there at their local mall. Mini mall ya haha. Bought myself a blue electric winter jacket here. Murah gilerr!

Balik and rest and start packing!!!!! Sedihnya we love our temporary home at Nepean Resort very very muchhhh!

Well time flies..next Melbourne City!
Malam tu keje mengemas bag..pening susun barang weh! Ni belum Melbourne shopping kan! Ahaks!

Day 6 – Oz Trip 2014 – The GOR Part 2 – The Adventure

The famous GOR is a long drive journey along the ocean side where throughout the journey we witnessed the world’s most scenic coastal drive. There are few stops that you may want to stop along the drive and they are Apollo Bay, Lorne, Torquay, Anglesea, Port Campbell, Port Fairy, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale (lighyhouse) , Portland and etc.

The main stops that you should try and drop would probably in my personal opinion be the beautiful lorne..there is a lot of beautiful vacation home and motel for you to stay overnight and enjoy the view.

But since we were behind our schedule we decided only to stop at the Apollo Bay. Here is where we had our halal lunch meal. Before this in 2006 me and hubby also the tour bus stop here for fish and chips!

To get here is 4 hours drive already. The peak of our long journey! Phew..my parents did ask me what is so special about the GOR. I just couldn’t describe why or what. I just told them just wait until we arrive…and really this specticular view made everyone amazed with the Almighty creation.

We were very lucky to reach there before it was dark. Winter means early light out! Stop also at Port Campbell to witness the historical place where a ferry capsized here and only 2 survivors found alive! We took a picture of us during our honeymoon here back in 2006 and this time we took one more, same spot with Wawa. Too bad to get to the seaside you have to climb down the steepy strairways. We dare not bring Aqib down with us. Only me hubby, my bro and Wawa went down.

By the time we finish taking pictures it was already magrib dark. Just enough time to start our long 4 hours journey back to our kg via road. No choice we didn’t managed to turn back on time.

If you have ample time and budget definitely should try stay overnight at one of the stops.

We reached home by 10pm through the dark highway road b4 reaching Melbourne. It was a very challenging driving simpang siur on the way…but on our way back we can cut through straight road as it is already dark and nothing to see.

Alhamdulillah
We reached home safely.

Enough GOR for this time! Cukuplah 2 kali!! 😅😅
