KL City Vacay -School break June 2013

Last term break we were in Jakarta.(I’ve blogged about it already it’s in my draft but don’t have the time to finalized!)

This term break we have no plans to go anywhere and we decided on a very last-minute to treat our kids for a short one night Vacay experience. Wawa whose holiday definition is of course staying in a hotel!! :))

So we booked 2 days 1 night stay at…

When I Googled for KL school holidays activities 2013, discovered this open school activity at The Curve “Barbie in the Pink Shoes”. The activities inclusive of sand art, baking cupcakes, meet n greet Barbie and as usual the photo shoot!

We arrived just before 1.30pm and managed to be among the top 20 to queue for the meet and greet Barbie. She was scared at the beginning but luckily when told only kids are allowed to be on staged.. She was ok. Excited “mama tu Barbie betulke?” ” suara dia sedap la ma… tapi wawa je dengar”

Managed to snap a few pics and video… Tapi sayang video tak jadi.

You have to spend min Rm80 in a single receipt to participate with all the activities organised by Barbie. Among all we headed for the baking session..and disappointed to discover the session was full already!

Wawa enjoyed the sand art corner and we snap pics of the kids and us at all of their photo props :p

We registered wawa for this free photo shoot and our turn was no 1990 and the current number at that time was 1770! While waiting for our turn, we headed for The Circle massage at the top of the mall. Again was disappointed they don’t have any male Masseuse. Cheh kecewa en suami.

We saw this massage chairs nearby and decided to just lepak and enjoy the kerusi urut! Lega lah sikit!

Around 6pm, our turn still lama lagi. Lucky we were staying nearby.. I asked the staff to give us a ring so we can come down on time.

After resting we finally received a phone call at 8pm plus informing its almost our turn.

Rushed down and… Kena tunggu lagi.. I pity those parents who had to wait soooo long! Most are tired and bad mood already. Can’t blame them though tunggu lamakan. My ad hoc planning Vacay ni mujur berbaloi.

Anyway the photo shoot took ages. Wawa loved being touch up and dressed up as a ballerina. The official photo will be ready by 2 – 3 weeks time and as usual they offered us to pick 1 from all those 20 pics. Errr susahnya and ended up buying for 2 plus 1 hardcopy package for rm60. I told myself I will not spend on others coz if you want a soft copy you must at least buy 5 in a cd for rm150. No need lah since I’ve learned that from wawa ‘s party. They will share the soft copy on their fb site pon later if you opted for yes : promotional usage of Barbie.

By this time we had enough of Barbie!!

Mr hubby dah bored and we finally had our late dinner at the Bubbagum. Enjoying the night scene of the Curve.

We bought wawa a single Barbie duvet set and you know what. She opened it and start using the hotel’s pillow and bolster pillow. Haha punyalah excited. So that night she slept on her new Barbie set!πŸ˜‰

There… Phew… what a day!

Loved the hotel very much!
